I’ve been saying this for several years. We MUST, as a nation, raise our voices and let our government know that the fight against sex trafficking should NOT be against children forced into sexual slavery by their traffickers. Instead, we should enforce stronger penalties on the buyers, who are rarely arrested or prosecuted for their actions.
Child runaways tricked or forced by “pimps” into a life of prostitution should not be treated as criminals. Why is it the girls who are held by police after a raid on a hotel room and not the men buying them? “It is the girl, repeatedly raped by grown men, who is shackled and put behind bars. Rarely are these girls perceived as victims.”
This has to change.

The Bible, states; in the last days “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived (II Tim. 3:13). (Romans 1:28); says they chose not to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; vs. 29..Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers; vs 30..Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, “inventors of evil things…. If anyone thinks they are going to escape “the wrath of God”…guess again. I believe authorities are protecting the perpetrators and convicting the victims because a vast majority of perpetrators are people in “high worldly places”. This is my comment, based on what the “Word of God”, says…not my comment…”God’s TRUTH”.

Thank you for educating me regarding this misguided blaming of the girls used for trafficking. Out of all the disturbing issues that I have read about on the internet, this has got to be the worst example of overlooking the true criminals and blaming those who are the victims of exploitation. I feel very sad for the vulnerables in society, but I am most sickened by animal abuse. Yet, this ignorance displayed in making vulnerable children take the blame instead of those truly responsible disturbs me most than animal abuse which rates high on my list of perversions. It only takes a modicum of common sense to see that these girls or young women are not to blame for these disturbing acts of violence against women.
Unfortunately, common sense doesn’t seem to be very common.
