I just want you to know that, Lord willing, in our church I will be talking about the biblical Joseph (Genesis 37) who was sold into slavery. I will tell the story, pointing out how Christ also suffered in our place and because of our sin. I will point out the love of Christ for all kinds of people and the sinfulness of slavery also. I will also point out that Obama’s wife’s ancestor were slaves, but that now a black man,her husband, is the president. The love of Christ for all kinds of people motivates us to love all and move us to action. May Christ’s grace abound to you also. Keep up the good work.
