I agree whole-heartedly. It’s such a shame that even in this modern age, slavery still occurs.
People don’t want to think about or even look at what’s going on in the world that has nothing to do with us. We have to, it just can’t be ignored.

Slavery is endemic in much of the uncivilized world, and especially in the muslim world. Religion is still a large part of the problem mainly because religion permits and even endorses slavery.
