No One Should Be For Sale
Stop Child Slavery
There are an estimated 27 million people living in slavery in the world today and half of them are children. The number makes my skin crawl. No one should be for sale, least of all a child.
How Can We Let This Be?
Today has been a day of enlightenment.
The signs in this photo tell the story. It’s 2007 and there are still places in the world that have not abolished slavery, where slavery is still legal. I am reading my own words as I’m writing it and it’s difficult to imagine.
Why? How?

We Have To Start Somewhere!
Ignorance is bliss.
Yesterday, my wife asked me to watch the Oprah Show on Child Slavery in Ghana. I have never been ignorant of the far reaching impact of child slavery. But I’ve been acting like I was. I must stop claiming ignorance and start making sure others do as well.
Knowledge is power.
I don’t know where this is going to go or how it’s going to work. But I’m certain that someone must stop child slavery. I’m certain that I’ve got to stop thinking that someone is someone else.
We must stop child slavery.
I MUST STOP CHILD SLAVERY!
